Preloved Vintage Fair – Night and Day Cafe Manchester

It’s been a busy couple of weeks over at Been There, Eaten That. It’s seemed that not many nights have passed by recently without me having some plans. One Monday I popped along to the Preloved vintage fair at the Night and Day Cafe in the Northern Quarter.

This is actually a bar I have only ever been to in the day time so it was nice to see it with an entirely different atmosphere. I was greeted at the door with a glass of champagne and a goody bag. Always a great start to an event! The goody bag was totally cute and contained handmade soaps and bath salts (which are currently making my room smell beautiful) fudge a little tiny sewing kit and a tiny pot of jam. In the pack I also received a flyer for half price membership for preloved.

The event was lovely; I had a good old browse around the Oxfam originals store. I bought a gift from Love Spreads and the most fun part of all was having my hair and makeup done in a vintage style.

I love the victory rolls and tried my best to sleep with my head straight so that they would stay in for my lindy hop class the next day but unfortunately I managed to squash them completely.
